On May 26, 2001 Layla had 10 pups. The Birthing Room, where we do the medical clinic was a very busy place all morning. The birthing bed was velvet. I'm sorry the gold tassles are not visible in this picture. Each pup scheduled for delivery had a personal attendent in sterile clothing with gloves, hat and mask. We were very lucky to have all the puppies healthy. The Charge nurse in the background of the picture on the left is my daughter Gillian. Thanks goodness for storebought puppymilk which we used to supplement from the very beginning. All pups got their turn at mother's milk as well.
