U2 is a very calm horse. We took these pictures in the paddock on April 10, 2002. It isn't difficult to walk up to this Irish Draught Horse when he is lying down, enjoying the California sun and pet him. Just ask him and he gets up and comes over for a pet. His dam, Tess's Golden Heather was in the Irish Draft Horse Quality retention program. She had another foal who won an award at the 2002 IDHSNA national show.
